Coming Up on Cycle Four

I'm feeling way less intense about my weight loss journey today. I'm coming up on Cycle Four and I just don't feel a need to evaluate anything. I'm constantly evaluating myself on a daily basis. Using MyFitnessPal.com helps me do this and gives me a reality check. I can SEE what I'm doing each day, it really helps me stay focused.

I feel GREAT! The strangling mounds of fat are diminishing every so slightly. I'm so glad no one is noticing yet, I can keep this to myself that much longer. I've noticed my clothes are starting to feel more roomy.

Yesterday breaking 216 was a huge boost for me. Not license to eat more, but I have broken through a previous goal from 2012. I feel energized to keep going!

I'm not sure how I'll process the start of Cycle Four because for now, I feel like I need to continue with what I've been doing this Cycle. I probably should process as usual, to keep continuity. Yes, I'll do it.

Sunday Weigh In #10 of 45 in 2014

WHOHOOO! I'm pretty shocked and excited, I wasn't sure what to expect today since I spent a few days this past week eating sloppy. Cycle Three is almost behind me...I'm SO glad I haven't given up, but just keep going. I'm really grateful for MyFitnessPal.com, it is always a dose of reality in my eating and I love being able to plan out my eating ahead of time on many days.

This is a milestone for me. In June 2102, I had lost down to 216.8, but I've broken through that now! I feel like this is an important day. I also wanted to mention I feel very confident about the scale because I'm putting it in the exact same spot every Sunday and wearing the exact same clothes each time, too. My next big goal is to get under 210!

Today was 215.9

Sunday Weigh In #8 of 45 in 2014

I so don't deserve any weight loss this week! There were a few nights I ate beyond what I logged. And I certainly haven't exerted myself with much exercise. I had a little trouble with sugar this week, too...I consider it trouble because sugar is an inflammatory and I just don't want to go there in anyway. I feel icky when I eat it. Besides, the more I have, the more I want to have and I don't want to be dealing with temptation everyday. This week will have a focus on nutritious foods and purposefully not eating any sweets.

But I am soooo grateful for loss this week! Here's to eating less next week!

Today was 216.1

Sunday Weigh In #7 of 45 in 2014

I am STUNNED that I lost weight this week and so incredibly excited about it!

Last week, I was terribly disappointed to only lose one pound. I know that is just ridiculous, but I couldn't shake it, I had high expectations. I was cognizant that I was having a bad reaction to the scale and I was aware all week not to use it as an excuse...I'm in this for the long haul...I knew that week would pass (and down one pound to boot!), so here we are at a new week-yay!

My focus this week is my daily salad and daily walk and 11pm-7am sleeping.

Today was 216.6

Cycle Three Exercise Routine

I like this daily routine for Cycle Three:

10 minute Health Bounce
5 minute Warm Up
15-30 minute Walk (treadmill, or pool if nice outside) 1/2 mile to 1 mile
5 minute Cool Down Stretches
and on M W F:
Rotiss, but I think I don't like planks for now, so I'm changing this to Superman (15 count) and Crunches (15 up and down)
Counter Push-Ups (I can do now do 15)

I started using the barbell last week, but I'm still experimenting with a routine.

UPDATE 04/06/2014: This past week I struggled with my routine because the week before I had worked so hard and had only lost a pound(!) so this week I really want to focus on making sure I do my health bounce, warm up and walk.
