Losing Coach Workshop
Today I attended the Losing Coach workshop in San Jose, California.
I haven't traveled long distance in years, haven't been on an airplane in years and certainly haven't traveled alone since probably 2000. I missed my family so much! But what fun I had!!! I visited eBay, Apple, Google and Stanford University along with driving up to San Francisco to get a photo in front of M5 Industries (MythBusters). I wanted to get a pic by the Golden Gate Bridge, but ended up getting shunted off onto the Bay Bridge and I ended up in Oakland (aka-I took the wrong freeway)! My husband gave me directions back to the San Jose airport and I returned my car and waited for my flight.
The warm weather was glorious! It was about 75 while I was there, not too hot! My favorite things were going to Stanford (I wish I had had more time, I was only there about an hour) and watching hours of HGTV before bedtime (not to mention the workshop)!
The workshop was held at a private residence. It was in Saratoga in the beautiful hills overlooking Silicon Valley. The views were nothing short of absolutely stunning! Thank you to our hostess, it was a grand day!
I learned the Seven Steps to Weight Loss Mastery at the workshop and learned some important things to help move me forward. I took the last week off from My Fitness Pal and will begin again on Monday.
Yesterday (Friday) I weighed 217.1
I don't want to give anything away on this blog that is considered information gained from Losing Coach. There are two things I can see I'll be doing differently right away and I feel skeptical about that, but I'm going to trust the process.
The biggest delight of the day was meeting Shelley and Erin, owners of Losing Coach. I also met a sweet woman in the driveway as I entered the workshop named Cindy with whom I sat next to during the workshop. After the workshop, Dana came over to talk to me and encourage me. I've signed up for personal coaching and I look forward to seeing who will be my coach!
